Meribeth is proud to announce the the new 5th edition of Dynamics of the Singing Voice is now available. It contains new chapters on the Energy Field and Singing, Core Singing and Vocal Pedagogy in the 21st Century.  There are anatomy study guides in the back as well as a new chapter on Vocal Research.

CoreSinging TM is now a reality. It is an easy, simple approach to singing for all ages, stages, and styles.  For years I have been convinced that singing could be taught in a less complex way.  And, recently all my years of singing, study, and self-developed produced that Eureka! moment--and CoreSinging TM was born.  There in a description on the site.  At the moment there are workshops scheduled for London, Geneva and the US next summer.  However that is just the beginning. Watch this space for many more dates.

Thought for today:  Mind How you Practice. Never leave the practice room without fully performing your song.  Perform as if you have an audience of thousands and you are not allowed to stop and correct or criticise.  Singers tend to leave "performing" until too close to the actual event.  Always practice performing!

Be grateful for your voice.  Do not send it negative messages--ever! Your voice is doing its best to give you what you are asking.  When you send positive and negative messages at the same time, the result is vocal confusion.
